Probation Intern I/II @
Probation Department
The Probation Department at the County of San Mateo is looking to hire a Legal Office Intern to provide clerical support and customer service to the department and the courts. Responsibilities include recording statistical information on release recommendations, tracking release rates, and updating court reports by researching current status in the jail and court management systems.
Pay: $16-$22.00/hr
Age: 18+
Hours: 40 hours per week

Volunteer Tutor @ Healthy Cities Tutoring
A great and most rewarding way to give back to your community is to become a tutor. Provide one-on-one support to children in K-8th grade to help improve their academic performance and self-esteem. Training is provided and you can earn community service hours for school in the process!

Hours: Flexible, with as low as 1 hour per week

Recreation Specialist I @
The City of Redwood City Parks, Recreation & Community Department
The Parks, Recreation & Community Department is looking for enthusiastic people to work within the After School Sports and Mobile Recreation programs operated out of Red Morton Community Center. Duties will include, but are not limited to, serving as a head coach within the Junior Dribblers basketball program and leading mobile recreation activities at various parks and school sites
Pay: $16.69-$19.32/ hour
Age: 18+
Hours: 15-20 hours per week

Attire: Bring sturdy shoes, jacket and water.
Ages: All ages welcome, but children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Bring your family members for a free leisurely short guided hike in Rancho Corral de Tierra park adjacent to El Granada. Your Spanish-speaking leaders will show and talk about area plants and wildlife. The trail has a few hills but we take a leisurely pace. Bring sturdy shoes, jacket and water.
