JFY SUMMER INTERNSHIPS ARE STILL OPEN
Summer Interns work for departments throughout the County and have the opportunity to develop fantastic career skills... while getting paid!

The details: Are you curious about a career in local government? Are you between the ages of 18 and 21? If so, consider applying for our paid Summer Internship!
- PAY: $16 per hour
- LENGTH: 8-10 weeks
- START: June 2019
- DEPARTMENTS: Positions are available in several Departments
- LOCATIONS: Positions may be based in East Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Redwood City, San Carlos, Belmont, San Mateo, South San Francisco, Half Moon Bay, and Daly City

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
College Track Internship
Interns will work with the SFO Internships team to develop life skills around money management, communication, housing and transportation, and job readiness.
Where: SFO Airport and SF County Departments
Who: 18-25 year olds
Pay: $20.41 per hour
The goal of Career Connect: College Track is to allow students to work and go to school while also increasing their ability to get and keep a job.

San Mateo County Youth Commission
Give your perspective on important issues facing your community and work directly with the Board of Supervisors and County departments as a leader and voice for youth in the county. Commissioners engage in policy analysis and recommendations, skill building, leadership development, event planning, and more!

SamTrans Youth Pass

The 2019 SamTrans Summer Youth Pass goes on sale May 21. The SYP is only $40 and is good for unlimited rides on any SamTrans route for youth 18 years and younger from June 1 through August 31.
