In April 2013, the Planning Department convened a Task Force as a
means to engage public and private stakeholders to collaborate and advise on
the first phase of Eco-District development in Central SoMa.
This
Thursday, March 6th, members of the Central SoMa Eco-District Task Force will present
the Task Force’s recommendations and next steps at the Planning Commission. You're invited to attend the Planning Commission hearing this Thursday around 12:30pm to voice your support for the Central SoMa Eco-District.
Bill Worthen and Bob Gamble will be presenting the Task Force report after
which the Commission will solicit comments from you!
This hearing is a follow-up to the Planning Commission hearing on January 23rd,
where the City's overall Eco-District strategy was discussed.
