Construction Update - Great America Parkway and Mission College Boulevard Intersection Improvements Project
The City's contractor, O’Grady Paving Inc., is scheduled to begin the first phase of pavement restoration on July 14, 2025. This phase includes repairing and restoring localized pavement failures along Great America Parkway between Patrick Henry Drive and Highway 101, as well as on Mission College Boulevard between the college entrance and the Marriott Hotel entrance.
Construction Details
To minimize traffic congestion during peak commute hours, all paving work will be performed at night between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. This phase is expected to be completed by July 23, 2025.
Traffic Impacts
- Multiple lane closures will be in place on both streets at night
- Full road closures are not anticipated
