The City of Santa Clara Parks & Recreation Department is opening a new community garden at the Nuevo Summerhill Homes Development (Lawrence Station) at 3505 Kifer Road, Santa Clara 95051. This new garden will feature 26 ADA-accessible raised garden beds, fruit trees, storage shed and a small outdoor seating area. The garden will host classes for members and the community that cover a variety of topics, such as, fruit tree pruning, container gardening and composting. Learn more online.

Let's Eggsplore Santa Clara
The City of Santa Clara Youth Commission, welcomes everyone to “Let’s Eggsplore Santa Clara” a spring program designed to inspire visits to newly rehabilitated City parks and playgrounds. Hunt and find custom painted wooden eggs in various parks throughout the City through April 5, 2021. Learn more online.

Performing Arts Classes
Do you love acting and performing? For the kids 6 to 10, join us online and explore the world of creative expression and dramatics in Imagine Me! For teens, Scene Work Makes the Dream Work will broaden their acting abilities, working on character analysis, background and making strong acting choices, while being in the moment and reacting truthfully for their character.

Online Youth & Teen Enrichment Classes
We are now offering a wide variety of coding classes for ages 5-15 years, including interests in Roblox, Minecraft, Python, Scratch and Mobile App Development. For the scientists among us, Mad Science is teaching us how to be expert detectives and exploring the world of energy. Any artists out there? Join Mr. Green for Beginning and Intermediate Drawing.

Music Classes for All Ages
For in-person or online classes, for ages 4 months to adults, we have a variety of musical instruments and classes you can take such as, piano, guitar, ukulele, and singing classes like Choir and Musical Theatre Singing. For the little ones, starting as early as four months old, we have classes like Teacher Sean’s Music Factory, Little Mozart, Beethoven Beginners and Bilingual Chinese and English Music Class.

Register for Spring Session of Club YAC
The Youth Activity Center and Teen Center is excited to begin Club YAC in the Spring on April 19, 2021. Kids will spend the afternoon playing recreation activities, creating various arts & crafts and can get help with their homework. Zoom Meet Ups with Mallory
Breathe California, the local clean air and healthy lungs non-profit, joins us for the April meeting with speaker, Dr. Sulochina Lulla, MD, MPH. Online Fitness for Adults 50+

Garden Tours at Eddie Souza Garden
The public is invited to visit the Everett N. "Eddie" Souza Community Garden & Park and tour it's many attractions. Inside the garden we have various demonstration areas that will inspire the gardener and environmental steward in each of you. Take a stroll and discover the garden on a self-guided tour. Extended Skate Park Hours
Extended skate hours now available on Saturdays at 1 p.m. and Monday through Friday starting at 3 p.m. There will be FREE timeslots for ages 5 years and older. Space is limited and advanced registration is required for a time slot. If you have any questions, contact the YAC.

Mission City Memorial Park
The Mission City Memorial Park will be open to visitors on Sunday, April 4, from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Visitors are asked to enter on Dolores Ave. For more information, contact Cemetery staff.

Adults 50+
Front Desk Support: Staff are available by phone Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. to assist the older adult community. Care Management Program provides free assistance to Santa Clara residents age 50+ apply for programs, or learn more about health information.
