Celebrating Our Award-Winning Parks

We’re excited to share that two of our beloved parks have been recognized in this year’s North Bay Bohemian “Best of the North Bay Awards,” reflecting the pride and enthusiasm of our community!

Finley Aquatic Center was named Best Swimming Pool in Sonoma County. The new Finley Spray Ground has helped bring even more life to this space. It's become a go‑to spot for families looking for fun, cool water play, and a sunny place to spend the day.

Howarth Memorial Park once again earned the title of Best Place for a Kids’ Party. With its iconic train, carousel, pony rides, boats, playgrounds, and picnic areas, it’s no surprise. This park is where so many families make lasting memories year after year.

These awards show just how connected we all are to our parks and recreation centers. They bring us together, help us stay active, and create the strong, welcoming community we’re so proud to call our home. Thank you, Santa Rosa, for voting and showing your love for our parks!
