City Manager's Project Update: Phase 1 of Llano Trunk Sewer Rehabilitation Begins
Construction is underway on Phase One of the Llano Trunk Sewer Rehabilitation Project, a major investment in Santa Rosa’s water reuse infrastructure. This phase will rehabilitate approximately 8,100 feet of 66-inch reinforced concrete trunk sewer along Llano Road from north of Todd Road to the Laguna Treatment Plant. To reduce surface disruption, the City is using trenchless cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) technology, which reinforces the existing pipe from the inside without the need for extensive excavation. Work is expected to take about four months to complete. This critical upgrade will help ensure the long-term reliability of the City’s water reuse system.
