City Manager’s Project Update: 2025 Capital Projects Engineering - Enhancing and Strengthening City Infrastructure
The City's Transportation and Public Works (TPW) Capital Projects Engineering team is preparing for an exciting 2025 season focused on improving and strengthening infrastructure throughout Santa Rosa. As the weather warms and the rains subside, the City’s road resurfacing program will begin, with plans to apply slurry treatment to nearly 33 miles of local streets. Significant upgrades to the City’s water and sewer systems are also on the horizon, including the replacement or relining of 14,784 linear feet of pipeline. Additionally, several parks across Santa Rosa will undergo improvements, with approximately 8.56 acres of City Parks set for reconstruction or new construction. In addition to Capital Engineering projects, TPW has a full slate of critical initiatives planned for 2025.
