Volunteering Feels So Good!
Recently, on a crisp and sunny Saturday morning in Santa Rosa, more than 80 people turned out to Galvin Community Park to plant trees – 33 of them! This Arbor Day tree planting party was one of the City’s regularly occurring volunteer opportunities, which aim to create a sense of community through fun, sharing, and working together toward a common goal. It was a fantastic day and as you can see in the following video, the benefits are long-lasting for everyone.
