City Council Goal Setting - A Collaborative, Community Driven Session
The Santa Rosa City Council convened last week for a goal setting session to define the City’s priorities for the next two years. Through dynamic and collaborative dialogue, the City Council, staff, and the community discussed key issues, including fiscal stability, infrastructure improvements, economic development, public safety, and housing. The Council’s goals closely aligned with input given during a recent community meeting and survey, both of which provided valuable insight that shaped the discussion. The Council emphasized departmental synergy, strategic planning, and collective leadership as essential to ensure City initiatives align with community priorities and effectively meet the community's needs. The highly productive session reflected the Council’s commitment to building a thriving, sustainable, and inclusive city. The goals are currently pending Council approval, and they will be announced in the near future.
