Announcing the 2025 Spring/Summer Activity Guide
The 2025 Spring/Summer Activity Guide from Santa Rosa Recreation & Parks is now available and is full of activities and events for everyone in the community. Several popular programs are expected to fill quickly, so browse the guide today to find swim lessons, day camps, health and fitness classes, tot programs, senior center activities, sports leagues, tours and events, and more. Registration for Camp Wa-Tam, Camp Wa-Tots, Camp Yu-Chi, and Doyle Adventure Camp begins at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 4, and registration for all other programs begins at 7 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6.

 Recreation Scholarships Are Available for Swim Lessons, Camps & More
Scholarships are available for income-qualifying residents to help offset the cost of swim lessons, some summer camps, lifeguard training classes, and the teen work experience program. Residents who qualify for a scholarship receive a subsidy, which can be applied towards fees when registering for programs.

SR Fire Provides CPR Classes to Local Students
Santa Rosa Fire, in partnership with Healthy Petaluma Foundation and Save Lives Sonoma, provided hands-only CPR classes to 7th and 8th graders across the City of Santa Rosa during January 2025.

In Celebration of Transit Equity Day
Santa Rosa CityBus, Petaluma Transit, and Sonoma County Transit will operate fare-free, all day, on Tuesday, Feb. 4, for Transit Equity Day, honoring Rosa Parks and other civil rights transit trailblazers who pursued equitable transportation for all. This year, CityBus will also host a Commemorative meet-up at 10 a.m. at the Downtown Second Street Transit Mall, featuring City and local NAACP representatives discussing public transit’s history and the future of sustainable public transit.
