The City and Partners Complete the Sale of the Southeast Greenway Property
On Oct. 17, 2024, a significant milestone was achieved in Santa Rosa's Southeast Greenway project when the California Transportation Commission (CTC) finalized the sale of 49 acres to the City of Santa Rosa. This acquisition is a major step toward realizing the vision of creating a "Central Park" for the city, marking the culmination of decades of community advocacy. The project is a collaborative effort involving several organizations, including the Santa Rosa Southeast Greenway Campaign, Sonoma Land Trust, Sonoma Water, Sonoma County Regional Parks, Sonoma County Ag + Open Space, and LandPaths. It represents one of the most successful partnerships between public agencies and community groups. Stay tuned for upcoming celebratory event information and announcements on how you can help shape this transformative public space. SOUTHEAST GREENWAY
