City Manager’s Project Update: Roseland Area Pavement Maintenance Set to Begin
The City is preparing to begin a significant pavement maintenance project focusing on rehabilitating approximately two miles of residential streets within the Roseland neighborhood. This project will also include upgrading 33 curb ramps to meet current ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) standards for improved accessibility. Work is scheduled to begin on Sept. 9, starting with the replacement of the curb ramps. Afterward, the streets will receive a two-step pavement treatment known as cape sealing, which includes both chip sealing and slurry sealing. While some temporary disruptions are expected, the project is designed to enhance community infrastructure with as minimal disturbance as necessary. LEARN MORE
