It’s Time to Start Irrigating Your Landscaping – Check Out Tools and Programs to Save Water and Money
As we move into warmer weather, it’s time to evaluate your water habits. Adopting more efficient tools and techniques – from low-water-use landscaping to weather-aware irrigation schedules – is something any community member can do, and Santa Rosa Water has the tools, tips, and rebate programs to help. If you’re looking for fresh landscaping, use our Cash For Grass program rebate to replace grass with low-water landscaping, and check out our Garden Design and Plant Selection webpage for more info on how to design a WaterSmart Yard. Santa Rosa was named a 2023 Tree City USA by the Arbor Day Foundation to honor its commitment to effective urban forest management. The City achieved this recognition by meeting the four requirements: maintaining a tree board or department, having a tree care ordinance, dedicating an annual community forestry budget of at least $2 per capita, and hosting an Arbor Day observance and proclamation.
