Santa Rosa Recreation & Parks is hosting an Arbor Day tree-planting party this Saturday, and the community is invited to attend. While most Americans observe Arbor Day in late April, in California, we celebrate early in honor of famed horticulturist and Santa Rosa resident Luther Burbank, born on March 7, 1849. So, join us this Saturday, March 9, from 9 a.m. to noon at Skyhawk Community Park to plant some trees and further our status as a Tree City USA community. JOIN US
