North Bay Storm Update: Flood Watch and Wind Advisory in Effect
The City of Santa Rosa is monitoring the storm forecasted by the National Weather Service (NWS) to impact the North Bay with a Flood Watch in effect from Wednesday morning through Friday morning and a Wind Advisory from early Wednesday morning through early Thursday morning. Three to five inches of rain is expected over the North Bay during this period with up to six to eight inches over peaks and higher terrain. The rain will be accompanied by south winds of 25-35 mph, with gusts up to 45 mph expected. It is likely that a Flood Warning will be issued by the NWS and will go into effect as rainfall starts to increase in coverage and intensity. LEARN MORE
