Community Forum and Survey on Housing Needs and Homeless Services
The City is seeking community feedback on how to address housing needs and homelessness. The insights we receive from the community will help guide the City’s Fiscal Year 2024-2027 Consolidated Plan, determining how federal funding will be used to meet housing and community services needs and set priorities in Santa Rosa over the next three years. There are two ways to get involved: attend a community forum, with in-person and virtual options, which will be held on Jan. 11 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., or take a short online survey to provide input. Visit SRCity.org/ConPlan for more information, including how to participate in the meeting and to take the survey. LEARN MORE

Recology Offers Bulky Item Collection
Out with the old, in with the new year! Do you have items that need disposal but are too large to fit in your garbage can? Bulky items such as old furniture, appliances, or mattresses can be picked up by Recology instead of illegally dumped on the street. As part of your Recology services, residential customers are eligible to receive two free Bulky Item Pickups (BIP) per year. Multi-family dwelling residents can also benefit; simply request your property manager to schedule a BIP. Each BIP must be scheduled in advance and is limited to 3 cubic yards, equivalent to twelve 50-gallon trash bags. LEARN MORE
