Groundbreaking Ceremony Celebration for Fire Station 5 Resiliency and Relocation Project

On Friday, July 21, City staff were joined by local, State, and Federal partners to celebrate the long-anticipated groundbreaking ceremony for the new Fire Station 5 Resiliency and Relocation project. Fire Station 5 is a critical wildfire recovery infrastructure project for the residents of Fountaingrove and Hidden Valley neighborhoods and our entire community. The new station site is still located within our Wildland Urban Interface; however, this site is situated to provide better defensible space to aid in mitigating risks associated with future wildfires. In addition, the new station has also been designed to accommodate up-staffing during critical fire weather and be used as a command post for future emergencies. READ MORE

Infrastructure Wildfire Recovery Projects Update

Following the devastating October 2017 Wildfires nearly six years ago, the City has been working to recover what was lost while also implementing measures to mitigate future emergencies. We have made tremendous progress in our City’s recovery but we are not yet finished. READ MORE

The Chief’s Community Advisory Team (C-CAT) is designed to be a bridge between the community and the Santa Rosa Police Department (SRPD). It facilitates and enhances communication between SRPD and the wider community.
