Wet Weather Continues into Next Week

Despite today’s drier conditions, forecasters expect several more inches of rain beginning tomorrow (Friday) and continuing through Monday. The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Flood Watch that will go into effect from Jan. 14 at 4 a.m. through Jan. 16 at 4 p.m. as flooding concerns persist with gusty winds continuing off and on through the weekend. NWS projects up to 4" of rain through Monday and expects rain to continue through the middle of next week.

Water Supply Update: Reservoirs are Recovering!

We welcome a new year and the abundance of rain to Northern California. The recent storms have been filling up our reservoirs since New Year's. While it is too soon to declare the drought over, this steady stretch of rain has improved conditions for Lake Mendocino, which is now above average, and Lake Sonoma, which is steadily increasing with each storm.
