Santa Rosa, Please Welcome Your New Mayor: Natalie Rogers!
During the Dec. 13 Council meeting, and after four votes and 17 minutes of deliberation and procedure, the Council Member from District 7 was officially selected by the seven-member City Council to serve as mayor of Santa Rosa through December 2024. With her selection, Mayor Natalie Rogers becomes the City’s first female mayor since 2010, and she is the first Black mayor in the City’s history. Mayor Rogers celebrated the distinguishment by honoring others: “I’m grateful to my colleagues for appointing me to this position, for my constituents for electing me, and for all Santa Rosans for building a great community in the North Bay.
