The 47th Handmade Holiday Crafts Fair is This Weekend
Santa Rosa Recreation and Parks is preparing to welcome more than 90 local artisan vendors and hundreds of community members to the Handmade Holiday Crafts Fair this Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Finley Community Center. This annual shopping extravaganza is one of Santa Rosa’s most longstanding and beloved holiday traditions, dating back to the mid-1970s. It offers unique, local, handcrafted holiday gifts, as well as a free ride on Rosie the Trolley to the Holiday Open House at Luther Burbank Home & Gardens. Time is Running Out! Make the Switch to CivicReady Today
The Santa Rosa Police Department and Santa Rosa Fire Department recently launched an improved public safety communications tool, CivicReady. It is replacing the City’s use of Nixle, and by Dec. 16, Santa Rosa will no longer send Nixle messages. CivicReady provides multiple new advantages to Santa Rosa residents, including fewer service interruptions, improved text message distribution, and now residents can specify their preferred written and spoken languages. It takes a few minutes to subscribe to continue receiving important public safety alerts and news. SIGN UP TODAY
