SR City Connections: Turn Off Irrigation | Fare-Free Trips on Election Day | Handmade Holiday Crafts Fair | Downtown Winter Lights Celebration | Operation Green Light | And More

Due to ongoing drought conditions impacting our region’s water supply, we must all continue to make saving water a top priority. We acknowledge and thank the community for your continued water-saving efforts. The most impactful way to continue to save water in fall and winter is by turning OFF our irrigation systems, as irrigation is not necessary to maintain a healthy landscape. Fall is the time of year that plants start to conserve energy by going dormant to prepare for winter rest. Whether you water by hand or have an automatic system, we must commit to turning off outdoor irrigation until spring to save water. The water we save now may be the water we need next summer. Let's make every drop count. LEARN MORE

In Support of Our Veterans, Courthouse Square will be Illuminated in Green Light
To honor our military veterans, Santa Rosa will be taking part in Operation Green Light for Veterans by illuminating Courthouse Square in green light from Nov. 7-13. Operation Green Light is a new national initiative designed to highlight the service of military veterans and their families and raise awareness about their unique challenges. By lighting Courthouse Square in green, the City wants our veterans to know they are seen, appreciated and supported. Residents are also encouraged to participate by changing one light bulb in their home to a green bulb. SONOMA COUNTY VETERANS SERVICES
