John Cregan Appointed as Santa Rosa’s New Chief of Police
Santa Rosa City Manager Maraskeshia Smith has appointed Interim Chief John Cregan as the new Chief of Police for the City of Santa Rosa to begin on July 3, 2022. Chief Cregan has twenty-three years of law enforcement experience and has served as the Interim Chief of Police since May of 2022. Chief Cregan oversees the management of 259 employees assigned to the Field Services Division, the Special Services Division, and the Technical Services Division of the Santa Rosa Police Department.
