I am pleased to share that Dijana Beck has been appointed interim director of Behavioral Health Services as the department prepares for the retirement of Jennifer Bransford-Koons this month.
In this role, Dijana will bolster the BHS leadership team to ensure continuity and support for the department during this critical time while the County conducts a search for a permanent director.
Dijana has 25 years of County service, including her recent role as director of the Office of Homeless Solutions and many years supporting children, families and vulnerable populations.
Please join me in welcoming Dijana to BHS. I am confident she will provide strong leadership and advance the department's important work while continuing to reshape BHS as a standalone group with an expanded role in the community.
