See the attached Information Notice outlining BHS’s updated community engagement efforts during BHSA implementation, including new department-led Optimal Care Collaboratives (OCCs) to support system-level discussion and coordination.
BHS will kick-off related activities with an in-person event in November and a virtual briefing tentatively in December. Recurring OCC convenings are anticipated to begin late January 2027 and will serve as recurring cross-sector forums focused on shared issues related to how people access, experience, and move through the local behavioral health system. Participation information, updates, and meeting materials will be available on the Connect with BHS webpage and through other County communication channels.
