The County of San Diego Office of Emergency Services is inviting Community-Based Organizations to indicate their interest in potentially contracting with the County during times of disaster response and recovery. This information will be used to build a roster of vendors and service providers that may be contacted during emergencies to help communities in need.
Emergency contracts are used only during emergencies. In some situations, the County requires very unique or specialized services and tools that are essential during or after a disaster. Because these needs are often highly specific, it can be more efficient to contract the service out during an emergency rather than rely on existing staff.
Organizations that may be able to support emergency response or recovery efforts are encouraged to complete the Emergency Contracts Interest Form. This form takes approximately 5-minutes to complete and is available in 134 languages. For translation, please click on the Select Language – Google Translation tool located at the top of the webpage. Completion of this form does not guarantee that a contract will be awarded.
Please sign up if your organization is interested and share this opportunity within your networks. For questions, please contact the County’s Office of Emergency Services at (858) 565-3490 or email oes@sdcounty.ca.gov.
