Subject: Important UPDATE | Reversal of Federal SAMHSA Cuts

Following a grassroots advocacy effort at the local, state and federal levels, it has been reported here and here that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has reinstated all discretionary grants that were previously terminated.

Separately, yesterday a bipartisan group of 100 House members sent a letter to Secretary Kennedy requesting additional information regarding the grant terminations.

I hope this brings a little reprieve and stability to the local organizations that were going to be impacted.
