Subject: Submit Public Comment by 12/2 for CDPH BHSA Prevention Program Phase 2 Guide

The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) is currently accepting public comment on the Behavioral Health Services Act (BHSA) Population-Based Prevention Program Guide - Phase 2 (Phase 2 Guide) through 11:59 PM (PST) on Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025.

The Phase 2 Guide is intended to act as a complement to the CDPH Phase 1 - BHSA Population-Based Prevention Program Guide and will be released at the end of 2025. It provides the operational and administrative components to execute the BHSA Population-Based Prevention Program Framework with the specific activities to be implemented for each of the Statewide Prevention Strategy Components. It includes details on funding levels and implementation activities per strategy. Review the Executive Summary on Phase 2 Guide (PDF) for details.
