Dear DMC-ODS Providers,
As part of the DMC-ODS, counties in California are required to have their network of providers administer the client Treatment Perceptions Survey (TPS) annually. The TPS is required to fulfill the County External Quality Review Organization (EQRO) requirement related to having a valid client survey. The information collected will be used to measure clients’ perceptions of access to services and the quality of care. The data may also be used by counties and service providers to evaluate and improve the quality of care and client experience. The administration of this survey by the counties will also address the data collection needs for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid services required evaluation of DMC-ODS.
This year, the survey period will take place from Monday, October 20 through Friday, October 24, 2025 and will be primarily administered via an electronic weblink with a paper survey available as a secondary option. In the coming days, you will receive thorough instructions for administering this survey to both Adult and Youth clients who receive services (including face to face and telehealth services) during the survey period. The County of San Diego has contracted with the UC San Diego Health Services Research Center (HSRC) to facilitate this process. Future communications regarding the 2025 TPS will be sent directly from the Project Manager at HSRC, Amy Panczakiewicz. If you have any questions regarding the TPS data collection process, her contact information is:
