5K Fitness Challenge

Week #4: Staying Motivated!

Its Week #4 of the Live Well San Diego 5K Fitness Challenge! Let’s keep each other and ourselves motivated! Tired of the same exercise route? Mix up your routine with a new location. Or maybe that music mix isn’t helping you reach the next level? Try a new spotify playlist. And let’s motivate each other! Check-in on Facebook or Instagram with hashtag #LiveWellSD5K to let others know how your training is going. Then search #LiveWellSD5K on social media to find someone else doing the challenge and send them a note of encouragement on their post.

During the summer heat, remember to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water and work out in the cooler hours of the morning or evening. If it is too hot, then don’t push yourself. If you have access to a gym or rec center, work out indoors to avoid the heat.
