 2022 Innovation Initiative (i2)
The Innovation Initiative (i2) $1 Million Challenge Grant is a milestone-based grant with a 12-month demonstration and workshop cycle that allows eligible i2 applicants to hone their business plan and grant proposal with the aid of experts provided by Alliance Healthcare Foundation and their Innovation Partner, Nex Cubed. The 12-month time period also allows their Program and Evaluation Committees time to get to know the applicants and develop a deeper understanding of their innovation solution.

Appointments Encouraged
January is National Blood Donor Month, and this year San Diego Blood Bank and blood centers across the country are encouraging eligible individuals to commit to donating blood at least twice throughout 2022. Winter is one of the most difficult times to collect blood and maintain a sufficient supply for our hospital partners.
Eligible blood donors are encouraged to schedule an appointment at SanDiegoBloodBank.org or call (619) 400-8251.
