There are many factors that can lead to an increased risk of developing cardiovascular disease and other health issues.  Knowing the following numbers can help you monitor your heart health:

  • Cholesterol – High cholesterol can lead to a higher risk for coronary heart disease, heart attack and stroke.
  • Blood Sugar - The amount of sugar (glucose) in the blood. Having diabetes increases your risk of heart complications.
  • Blood Pressure – High blood pressure can damage and weaken your arteries.
  • Body Weight – Your Body Mass Index (BMI) is a good indicator of healthy weight.
