San Bernardino County 2024 – A Year in Review
As 2024 draws to a close, San Bernardino County celebrates a year of outstanding achievements under the direction of the Board of Supervisors.
In the 2024 Year-in-Review video, County CEO Luther Snoke highlights the dedication of County employees who delivered exceptional services that improved the lives of San Bernardino County residents.
The county earned 200 awards from the National Association of Counties, more than any other county in the nation, reflecting its leadership in innovation and efficiency.
Key milestones in 2024 also included investments in public safety and public health, such as the construction of the Valley Communications Center, a state-of-the-art emergency operations facility, and new projects like a fire headquarters and an adolescent behavioral health unit.
The county also upgraded parks with water slides, splash pads and playground equipment, while a new observatory inspired young astronomers.
Efforts to support vulnerable populations resulted in housing for over 100 individuals experiencing homelessness and forever families for nearly 600 children, along with innovative programs benefiting the community.
San Bernardino County also honored our local veterans by presenting them with honorary diplomas and strengthened the pipeline of county leaders by graduating over 190 employees from the Management Leadership Academy.
Additionally, the State of the County event convened leaders from across the region and various business sectors to foster collaboration, progress and innovation.
Watch the 2024 Year-in-Review video to see how these accomplishments are making a difference and setting the stage for an even brighter 2025.
