Southern Inland Region Collaborative hosts annual Virtual Employer Workshop to empower businesses

Loma Linda, CA – The Southern Inland Regional Child Support Collaborative (SIRC), a partnership of six Child Support Services departments across Southern California, will be hosting its annual Virtual Employer Workshop. The workshop is designed to educate and empower business owners, payroll departments, and human resources professionals on the child support program and help employers understand the critical role they play in ensuring timely and accurate support for families. It will also provide attendees with valuable tools and resources to navigate the child support program.
Workshop Highlights Include:

Free Digital Resources Binder: Attendees will receive a comprehensive collection of resources and reference materials.

Interactive Q&A Panel: Employers will have the opportunity to ask questions in real-time.
Carmen Hernandez, Outreach Supervising Child Support Specialist for San Bernardino County, emphasized the importance of this collaboration, stating, “We are joining forces to educate and empower employers, ensuring support for families.”
The collaboration includes the Departments of Child Support Services in the counties of Imperial, Kern, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties as well as California Department of Child Support Services.
The virtual format allows for greater accessibility, bringing together a wide array of professionals from across Southern California, all focused on supporting the region's children and families.
