Five Early Vote Sites for 2024 General Election Aim to Make Voting More Convenient
SAN BERNARDINO, CA — The San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters is making early vote sites available to help people get a jump on voting. On Monday, Oct. 7, the Registrar of Voters in San Bernardino opened for early voting in advance of the Nov. 5 General Election. Four additional Early Vote Sites will open on Tuesday, Oct. 29, in Apple Valley, Joshua Tree, Ontario and Victorville to enable registered voters to cast their ballot before Election Day.
The San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters office is located at 777 E. Rialto Ave., San Bernardino, and voters can cast their ballot early during the following operating hours:
- Oct. 7-Nov. 4, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Saturday, Nov. 2 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Election Day, Nov. 5, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The additional Early Vote Sites will be open from Oct. 29 – Nov. 4 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., but closed on Sunday, Nov. 3. The locations and addresses for the additional Early Vote Sites are:
- Town of Apple Valley Recreation Center, 14955 Dale Evans Parkway, Apple Valley
- Joshua Tree Community Center, 6171 Sunburst Street, Joshua Tree
- Ontario Conference Center, 1947 E. Convention Center Way, Ontario
- Victorville City Hall, 14343 Civic Drive, Victorville
“Early Vote Sites are ideal for voters to request and vote a replacement mail ballot prior to Election Day and avoid the lines of voters that may occur at polling places on Election Day,” said Stephenie Shea, San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters. “Choosing when to vote is up to you and we feel that it’s important to give voters the opportunity to cast their ballot when it’s most convenient for their schedules.”
