Schedule of Activities for Ribbon Cutting at Hebbron Family Center
Salinas, CA – The Hebbron Family Center Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will take place this Saturday, January 31, 2026.
The ceremony will begin at 11AM with a welcome from the Mayor and comments from our federal, state and local leaders and representatives from the community, followed by the ribbon cutting ceremony.

- California Speaker of the Assembly Robert Rivas
- Anna Velasquez from Senator Ana Caballero’s Office
- Marisa Hernandez from Senator John Laird’s Office
- Monterey County Supervisor Luis Alejo
- Salinas Councilmember Gloria De La Rosa
- Library & Community Services Commission Chair Albert Fong
- Matilde Pena, Former participant and former staff member at Hebbron Family Center
Following the ribbon cutting, there will be performances by local groups including:
- Alisal Union School District Music Program
- Salinas High School Baile Folklorico
- Extreme Team Martial Arts
- North Salinas High Baile Folklorico
- Paraluman Network / Japanese Club at Rancho Cielo
- Luna Creciente Ballet Folklorico
- Faldas y Flores
The community is invited to enjoy other crafts, activities, and free food while supplies last.
