Hebbron Family Center Groundbreaking
On September 28, 2024 the City of Salinas officially broke ground on the development of a new Hebbron Family Center (HFC). The old HFC was closed due to structural damage after severe storms during the pandemic. The 2019 Parks, Recreation and Libraries Master Plan identified the HFC as the top ranked priority for renovation of all the recreation amenities in Salinas. City leaders worked to pull together a variety of funding streams with great support from our State and Federal elected representatives to make this new center a reality!
