Shooting on Chaparral Street
Salinas, CA – Officers responded to the 300 block of Chaparral Street for a victim of a shooting. As they arrived, numerous people were fleeing away from the location of the shooting. Officers located one victim in the backyard of a residence where a party was being held. This person was transported to a medical facility and is in critical condition. Several other victims were located with non-life threatening injuries.
