Single Vehicle Accident at Williams Road and Freedom Parkway

Salinas, CA – On Thursday, July 27, 2023, at 8:36PM, Salinas Police Department received a report of a single vehicle accident at the intersection of Williams Road and Freedom Parkway. Upon arrival, Officers provided aid to two individuals who sustained major injuries, a 78-year-old-male and an 80-year-old female, who were transported to a local hospital. The male victim remains in stable condition. However, the female victim has succumbed to her injuries. Their names are not being released at this time. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
