Community Meeting:
2022 Annual Report for AB 481
Salinas, CA – Salinas Police Department (SPD) will hold a community meeting to present the 2022 Annual Report for AB 481. There will be an opportunity for the public to ask questions.
The Annual Report will be released in advance of the community meeting and will be shared publicly through SPD and City networks.
On August 23, 2022, the Salinas City Council approved an Ordinance adding Chapter 27 to the Municipal Code pertaining to funding, acquisition and use of military equipment as required by AB 481. The Annual Report will be presented to City Council on August 22, 2023, at the Council Meeting.
