After a one-year hiatus from the pandemic, the event will be back at the same location in beautiful Downtown Riverside. We are excited to announce that downtown Riverside’s Artswalk has returned. A list of participating venues will be available soon on the website below, however the Riverside Art Museum, Division 9 Gallery, Riverside Community Arts Association, Back to the Grind and the Life Arts Center are confirmed. The artist vendor lot at the corner of University and Lemon will also be up and running. Limited capacity at some venues will likely still be in place throughout the evening. We respectfully request that you bring a mask, as some locations will require it.

Pianist Adam Golka In Recital
Village Concerts at Westmont Village
Hailed by the Washington Post as a pianist of “brilliant technique and real emotional depth,” world-renowned pianist Adam Golka comes to Village Concerts for a recital of virtuoso piano music. Having just performed the complete cycle of all 32 Beethoven piano sonatas five times, the program will begin with Beethoven’s beloved Les Adieux sonata. Also on the program will be the 2nd piano sonata of one of the most brilliant female composers of the 20th century: Grazyna Bacewicz. The program features etudes by Kapustin and Adam Golka and concludes with Liszt’s epic piano sonata in B minor.

La Sierra University’s Hanson-Koobs Chamber Music, a professional artists’ series, has moved its previously scheduled Jan. 30 performance online for a virtual presentation. The concert will feature Dominic Cheli, piano; Grace Park, violin; Erik Arvinder, violin; Ben Ullery, viola and Robert deMaine, cello. The ensemble will play Mozart’s String Quartet in D Major KV 499, Hoffmeister, and the Dvorak Piano Quintet in A Major Op. 81. Online access is free.
