Greetings GrowRIVERSIDErs!
Did you know the Riverside Food Systems Alliance (RFSA) is the community-based nonprofit partner that helps plan, promote, and produce the annual GrowRIVERSIDE conference and technical workshops that bring resources and information to build the local food system? All in all, the RFSA has actively engaged with more than 1,200 people in the region who desire to be change agents in the food system.
In 2019, the RFSA and its members launched several programs, including the NextGen Farmer Training Program, Gleaners for Good, and the Riverside Food Rescue Program. These programs engage local growers, the Riverside Unified School District operated Food Hub, local food pantries, and community members. Did we mention the 7.5-acre Northside Urban Agriculture Center that is being developed?
