The California Air Resources Board (CARB) anticipates that the Office of Administrative Law (OAL) will take formal action on the amendments to the Cap-and-Invest Regulation approved by the Board at the May 28-29, 2026, public hearing. Interested stakeholders are encouraged to check the websites below for up-to-date information on the status of the amended regulation. If approved, the regulation would take effect September 1, 2026.
