The California Air Resources Board (CARB or the Board) will conduct a joint public meeting (joint meeting) between CARB, the California Transportation Commission (Commission), and the California Department of Housing and Community Development (Department) as noted below.

This joint meeting is convened to coordinate the Board, Commission, and Department’s implementation of policies that jointly affect transportation, housing, air quality, and climate.

Background
Government Code section 14516 directs the Board, Commission, and Department to meet at least twice per calendar year to coordinate their implementation of policies that jointly affect transportation, housing, and air quality, including interagency efforts.
Presentations will facilitate open dialogue amongst state agencies and the public. We encourage public participation and there will be dedicated time allotted for public comments.
This joint meeting is separate from CARB’s other separately scheduled November Board Meeting.
Written Comment Period & Comment Submittal
Interested members of the public may present comments orally or in writing during the joint meeting and may provide comments by postal mail or by electronic submittal before the meeting. Comments submitted in advance of the joint meeting, must be received no later than October 27, 2025, and addressed to the following:
