The California Air Resources Board (CARB) has released updated health tables for the Hot Spots Analysis and Reporting Program (HARP) Air Dispersion Modeling and Risk Tool (ADMRT), Risk Assessment Standalone Tool (RAST) and Emission Inventory Module (EIM).

The p-Dichlorobenzene REL values are as follows

New Acute REL

  • 8.7 × 10+3 micrograms per cubic meter (µg/m3);

Revised Chronic REL

  • 5.0 micrograms per cubic meter (µg/m3);

New 8-hour REL

  • 1.0 × 10+1 micrograms per cubic meter (µg/m3).

To get the new health database, select the “Help > Check for Updates” feature in the main menu of each program.  This feature will automatically download and update the health databases.  Once downloaded, restart each program to use the new health databases.
