Background
The California E-Bike Incentive Project aims to provide rebates to reduce the purchase price for e-bikes to income-qualified consumers residing statewide, including disadvantaged and low-income communities. This project has been designed to help Californians reduce their vehicles miles traveled (VMT) by lowering barriers to e-bike ownership, as well as to educate Californians about bicycle safety and support local businesses.
