Join researchers from the University of California, Davis, for an insightful webinar on the transportation needs and barriers to zero-emission vehicle (ZEV) access faced by California's priority populations. Residents in these areas experience poorer air quality and have fewer transportation options—especially ZEVs—than other communities across the state. This session will explore the research findings and potential pathways to expand access to clean transportation in priority populations. The research team will share insights on:
- community listening sessions
- a statewide survey that explored barriers to ZEV access
- potential policy solutions to support increased uptake in these areas
Researchers will discuss how education, incentives, infrastructure, vehicle supply, and battery warranties and durability requirements can expand ZEV access for priority populations to help make clean transportation a reality for all Californians.
