The following pathways are being released for a 10-day public comment period:

B062001: Fuel Producer: ARTESIA RENEWABLE DIESEL COMPANY LLC (1646); Facility Name: RENEWABLE DIESEL UNIT (RDU) / PRE-TREATMENT UNIT (PTU) (82381); U.S and Canada sourced Canola Oil transported by Rail and pre-treated at the Renewable Diesel plant in Artesia, New Mexico; Natural Gas, and Grid Electricity; finished fuel transported to California by Rail. (PROV3.0)

(PROV3.0)

The public comment period will end on November 12, 2024, at 5:00 PM (PDT).

Background

The Low Carbon Fuel Standard, a regulation to reduce the carbon intensity of fuels sold in California 20 percent by 2030, is one of the measures adopted by the California Air Resources Board, pursuant to Health and Safety Code Sections 38500-38599 (AB 32) to reduce greenhouse gases in California. It is designed to help clean the air, protect the environment, and drive the development of clean, low-carbon fuels.
