Participants are encouraged to review the above documents in advance of the Q&A session to ensure the most collaborative and informative experience. The High Priority Fleets training webinar provides information on the requirements of the High Priority Fleets component of the Advanced Clean Fleets Regulation. The Advanced Clean Fleets Regulation Overview fact sheet has basic information on the different components of the ACF regulation. Please note that your vehicle or fleet may be affected by several other CARB regulations that are currently in place. Visit The TruckStop for more about California's requirements for heavy-duty vehicles.

To meet California's health-based air quality standards and greenhouse gas emission reduction goals, the trucks and buses operated in the state will be required to reduce tailpipe emissions by using zero-emission vehicles. California is working to meet the Governor’s goal of one hundred percent zero-emission transportation where feasible by 2045.

The ACF regulation applies to fleets performing drayage operations, high priority fleets, and those owned by state, local, and federal government agencies. The regulation affects medium- and heavy-duty on-road vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating greater than 8,500 pounds, off-road yard tractors, and light-duty mail and package delivery vehicles.
