California Air Resources Board (CARB or Board) staff have posted amended regulatory documents for the following Definitions, Certification Procedures, and Test Procedures for Vapor Recovery Systems at Gasoline Dispensing Facilities (GDF), which are incorporated by reference in California Code of Regulations, title 17, §§ 94010, 94011, 94016, and 94017:

- CP-206 - Certification Procedure for Vapor Recovery Systems at Gasoline Dispensing Facilities Using Aboveground Storage Tanks [July 12, 2021]
- CP-207 - Certification Procedure for Enhanced Conventional (ECO) Nozzles and Low Permeation Conventional Hoses for Use at Gasoline Dispensing Facilities [July 12, 2021]
- TP-201.1C - Leak Rate of Drop Tube/Drain Valve Assembly [July 12, 2021]
- TP-201.1D - Leak Rate of Drop Tube Overfill Protection Devices and Spill Container Drain Valves [July 12, 2021]
- TP-201.2I - Test Procedure for In-Station Diagnostics Systems [July 12, 2021]
The regulatory amendments: eliminate the in-station diagnostic (ISD) system overpressure alarm criteria; lower the nozzle spillage standard; expand the Phase I drop tube test procedures to allow for remote fill configurations; and include a variety of other modifications that improve clarity.
The regulatory amendments were adopted by the Board on July 12, 2021, approved by the Office of Administrative Law on December 7, 2021, and became effective on April 1, 2022.
